Amanti Prosecco is produced from the DOC of Prosecco and is 100% Glera, the relatively new name for the grape used exclusively for this appellation. Amanti is an Extra Dry style, which is very confusing as in Italian wine terms this refers to a wine with a little more fruit/residual sugar than Brut. Extra Dry style represents the majority of all Prosecco’s produced as its this fruity, soft bubble style that makes it so appealing. Amanti is a Spumante which refers to the qty/attack of the bubbles in the bottle and the common winemaking technique for Prosecco’s exported to Australia. Frizzante, often used with Moscato is a lighter bubble.
