Bundaleer Clare Valley Stony Place Riesling 2013
This wine was made using only the free run juice, which was cool fermented in stainless steel vats until dry. A dry growing season and a lengthy ripening period produced a Riesling with cleansing natural acidity, balanced with lively fruit sweetness on the palate. The nose is perfumed with aromas of orange blossom and tropical fruit with lemon zest, ginger and stone fruit flavours complemented by a talc texture on the palate. These are typical attributes of premium Clare Valley Riesling. It is clean and fresh with a crisp, lingering finish which is suitable to drink now but will also cellar well for the short term under the screwcap seal.
